Everything here is as close to perfection as it can get. Firs of all, Julio and Joe are amazing! Whatever they’re getting paid; it isn’t enough. The food… my goodness…. We had the combo kabab plate with chicken and steak. PERFECTLY cooked! The chicken was so moist and tender too 😮💨😮💨 and the rice…. PERFECTION. Had falafels for the first time too and my goodness I can’t wait to have more. If you try this place you NEED to try their red hot sauce. So full of flavor and spicy 🔥 can not wait to come back 🫡🫡

I can't leave LA without at least one trip to Zankou. The Tri-Tip shawarma is my go-to, and it's excellent, with perfectly seasoned meat and a charred exterior. It's served with toasted pita, hummus, and tahini. The real star of the show, however, is the garlic sauce. It's seriously addictive. It's a creamy, garlicky concoction that's perfect for dipping your chicken in or slathering on your sandwiches.
Overall, Zankou Chicken is a great place to get a delicious and affordable meal. The food is excellent, the garlic sauce is addictive, and the atmosphere is no-frills. But the food will keep you coming back time and again.
I’ve eaten at 3 different Zankou Chicken. This one is by far the best. I’ve ordered on Uber eats multiple times, and compared to the Hollywood location, this location has nicer take out plates. They have fresh meat & salad and give more meat than any other Zankou. The format on Uber eats is way easier to order from and they give you an open for sauce along with your 3 sides where the other locations don’t give you that option, so if you order from the other locations and you want 2 sauces you have to sacrifice one of your sides. I would recommend this location to anyone. It’s definitely the best and its one of my go to places to order from when I need a quick
